Sinja a mountain village 15 km north-west of Berat is located on the mountain of Shpiragu. The village has natural beauty and its history in the national wars of liberation in the 19th-20th centuries. Sinja together with Paftali and Galina are villages filled with olives and cherries, once served as a trade route connecting Berat town with mountainous regions in the depths of the country, today serves for agriculture and agritourism.
